Basic Guidelines &
Expectations to Travel Abroad

American Discovery is pleased to announce that we are broadening our horizons by offering Adventure Discovery, a student exchange program in Paris during the early summer 2016. This will be a 17 day/15 night program. You can check out the sample itinerary.

When you travel with American Discovery, you will enjoy an authentic experience by staying with a foreign host family, eating authentic regional food, and enjoying a typical French summer. Additionally, our local coordinators will lead tons of excursions to nearby must-see sites.

Being an exchange student will provide you a new understanding of your host country's culture, an appreciation of cultural exchange, an opportunity to hone your language skills, and the chance to forge friendships that could last a lifetime.

Because each student is an ambassador of his/her country, there are some guideliness that each American student will be expected to follow. Please see our Student Code of Conduct for complete guidelines. Also, note that students are expected to have some proficiency in the language of the host country.
